Technical Support
The NIC library, officially known as the Robert J. Kutak Memorial Library, features a collection unique it its focus on unpublished materials developed by correctional agencies. These items include research reports and analyses, program descriptions and evaluations, and staff training materials as wells as items developed for or by the National Institute of Corrections. The collection also includes journals, newsletters, published books and monographs, video and audio tapes, and reference sources.
Major topics addressed include correctional management and operations; correctional policies and standards; facility planning, design, and transition; offender programs; and special offender issues.
Submitting New Material
New materials are always welcome. Please complete, sign, and mail or fax the Information Center's release form if the materials are copyrighted or are to be disseminated in electronic format.
