This Supervisor Candidate School was a project implemented by the Oregon Department of Corrections to prepare its workforce to manage an intended increase in its institutional capacity. This document describes the program: the selection of participants, classroom and on-the-job training, and its implementation. It also describes a study of the program, comparing program participants to a matched group who did not attend the program.
