The impact of the state of Ohio subsidized, county-operated Community Corrections Act programs (CCA), Intensive Diversion Units (IDU), and the Community Based Correctional Facilities (CBCF) are reviewed. The study concludes that these programs do serve to divert offenders from state prisons.
