This report summarizes the major findings of an assessment of intensive juvenile aftercare program models for serious, violent, and chronic juvenile offenders. It examines critical issues such as target populations and risk and needs assessment. Based on program assessments, the report describes the framework for a program model that aims to reduce the recidivism of juvenile parolees. The report discusses three main program elements: organizational factors, case management, and management information.
