The Mock Job Fair Handbook: Delivering the Future

A mock job fair gathers employers and related service agencies together in an interview and information format to provide realistic job application and interview experience to inmates who will be released into the job market in the near future. Handbook contents include: what are and why have job fairs in institutions; job fair models; planning the job fair; establish a date and time; get approval from the institution warden; contact area employers; provide good directions; schedule employer interviews with inmates; conduct the mock job fair; close-out is very important; and conclusion.
