Alternative-to-Incarceration Programs for Felony Offenders: Progress Report and Preliminary Findings From a Recidivism Analysis

The fourth interim report of an ongoing evaluation of New York City's Alternative-to-Incarceration (ATI) programs is presented. Three chapters comprise this report: introduction; status of the data collection and highlights of Vera's research sample. Appendixes provide a description of the ATI programs and the COPES (Community Oriented Program Environment Scale) subscale and dimension. Findings show that the ATI programs are meeting the needs of the community. Accession Number: 016913
