Federal Imprisonment Trends for Women 1994-95 to 1998-99

Leading indicators for potential changes in the incarceration rates for adult women in Canada are examined. This report includes the following sections: executive summary; crime and sentencing trends; other factors affecting federal women trends; and conclusions.
