The Impact of Juvenile Justice Reforms on the Recycling of Juvenile Offenders

The impact of reforms in the juvenile justice system upon recycling, "the subsequent contact rate of juvenile offenders. . .two years after a disposition in the juvenile justice system" are evaluated (p. i). Three sections comprise this report: overview; methodology and characteristics; and results. Following the reforms of 1995, the subsequent contact rate for new offenses decreased 7.3%, and the subsequent contact rate for violent offenses declined 14%. Accession Number: 017245
