"[E]xamples of program strategies and approaches being used to help people who face difficult challenges in making the transition into employment" are provided (p. 2). Seven chapters comprise this resource guide: introduction; employment programs for the learning disabled; employment services for individuals with a mental health condition; employment programs for ex-offenders; employment programs for individuals with drug or alcohol addictions; employment programs for limited English speakers and non-English speakers (ESL); and broadly targeted programs for the hard-to-employ.
