An Environmental Scan of Faith-Based and Community Reentry Services in Johnson County, Iowa: Preliminary Report, July 2003

Results from a study on community outreach for reentry of ex-offenders back into their communities are provided. This report is divided into sections addressing: background and significance; methodology; results from three target groups (e.g., 6th Judicial District Community Corrections, Mid-East Council on Chemical Abuse (MECCA), and faith-based organizations); and summary. While faith-based organizations provide a wide variety of services, these groups can be better educated about dealing with reentry. Accession Number: 019164
