The ability of the Level of Service Inventory-Revised (LSI-R) to predict recidivism is investigated. This analysis is divided into seven parts: background; re-offending rates; enhancements to the risk for re-offense classification; proposed risk classification; the Risk Management Identification (RMI) system and proposed risk classification; re-incarceration rates; and summary of findings. An executive summary is also included.
