"This glossary describes and explains the relationship between two common types of systematic program assessments: performance measures and program evaluations" (p. 1). Specific terms and sections they are organized under are as follows: types of program performance assessment -- performance measurement and program evaluation; relationship between performance measurement and program evaluation -- different focus and different use; and types of program evaluation -- process (or implementation) evaluation, outcome evaluation, impact evaluation, and cost-benefit and cost-effectiveness analysis.
