What is happening now?

Experts and leaders in a wide variety of areas are being interviewed regarding their thoughts and experiences with Innovation, culture, large system change, and other topics of interest. These interviews are producing many creative ideas and helping identify members of the various teams and work groups for the project.

Literature Analyses:
Literature analyses were conducted for the topics of Organizational Culture and the Transfer of Innovation to provide a research foundation for the Project. Summaries of the most seminal and best researched articles from these ongoing analyses are accessible in a searchable online database.

Friends of the Norval Morris Project Forum:
The Friends of the Norval Morris Project is up and running. The Friends are a group of leaders and experts in organizational culture, the transfer of innovation, interdisciplinary teams, large system change, criminal justice, and human services who are interested in a minimal level of involvement with this project. The group exchanges knowledge and questions relevant to the project through an online discussion forum on NIC’s website. Keystone Group Formation:
The Keystone Group is being empanelled. This is a group of 12-15 experts who have consistently influenced others through their abilities to synthesize the research in their field, through their creative work in moving research into practice, or through contributing innovations. Drawn from the fields of criminal justice, corrections, organizational culture, large system change, human services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and technology transfer, participants are known for their openness to new ideas, their skills in collaborating with others, and their ability to maintain an extensive network of contacts in and outside of their fields.
